Over 800 B&Bs, cottages and small hotels have been visited over many years. Experience in the field comes from being the "meat in the sandwich"  - neither guest nor operator, but having the benefit of discussing with hosts and guests the pleasures, pitfalls and business of B&Bs and cottages. In particular, we know what's going on in the business in Victoria. Peter, 52weekends' reviewer, has been a travel writer/photographer for 25 years. In that time he has reviewed for Weekends 4 Two, Beautiful B&Bs & Small Hotels, The Age, Herald Sun, and dozens of travel magazines.

Most of the above have several sub-headings detailing aspects of your property that might affect its performance one way or the other. Something this valuable is not free - this is a unique professional service that could unlock the true potential of your B&B. 52weekends' fee for each report  is only $440  inc gst. The only extra charged is $22 per hour for driving from the city to each property, and return. It is normal to be offered FOC a night at each property for assessment purposes, but this can be reduced to a day visit if preferred by hosts.
